Nathalie Zink Lorre was born in Coimbra (Portugal) in 1988. She studied Pharmacy at the University Miguel Hernández of Elche and earned her degree in September 2011. During the final year of her degree, she joined the research group of Prof. Fernando Fernández with a collaboration grant from the Spanish Ministry of Education, participating in the project "Synthesis and characterization of phtalocyanines for photodynamic therapy of Cancer" under the supervision of Prof. Fernandez and Prof. Enrique Font. She made postgraduate studies of Bioengineering and her current research interests as PhD student are the study of perylenebisimides for their applications in photovoltaic devices, diodes light emitting and liquid crystals.
