David Gutiérrez Moreno was born in Novelda (Alicante) in 1989. He studied pharmacy at the University Miguel Hernández of Elche and earned his degree in September 2012. During the final year of his degree, January to June 2012, he joined the research group of Prof. Fernando Fernandez with a collaboration grant from the Spanish Ministry of Education, participating in the project "Synthesis and characterization of new photosensitizers for solar cells" under the supervision of Prof. Fernandez and Prof. Enrique Font.
Nowadays, he is still collaborating with the research group and making PhD studies of Bioengineering.
